I bought this dress ages ago, I really liked the colour, the fabric and the tasseled cowl neck. I tried it on, I tried it on again but there was just something about it that didn’t quite work. I tried different shoes, different belts you name it I tried it, still nope not quite right. The other day I pulled it out and in a rush threw it on, I kept piling on the jewellery for some reason. As it happens I was annoyed by the damn dress all day, it just didn’t feel right. But what can I say, I gave it a go and sometimes things just don’t work out.
On the other hand I really can’t get enough of everything else in the outfit, all the accessories are favourites for different reasons especially these shoes I got last year. I really like to have things just for summer and those just for winter, no idea why, I’m just odd like that! Velvet is definitely a winter thing for me, as soon as September hits I start to feel ready for A/W and always look forward to digging out things I’ve had put away. Know what else I like about a new season? Shopping, oh yeah you know I love a bit of shopping, but I also just really like to see all the new collections in store, the fuzzy jumpers and warm coats. Not for getting the shoes, all I’ve been doing is shopping shoes online this last week as the shiny new ones hit the stores. Don’t hate me but, um I’m feeling a bit Christmassy already, must be the lack of a summer or something!!!
